The undergraduate studies in FILM AND TV EDITING are organized according to ECTS in eight semesters, four year ones, academic studies that educate future experts with a purpose of forming creative and independent persons, who will have all the predispositions to grow into authors of artistic profiles who will adequately express their acquired academic knowledge and skills in the film and TV creation.

The scientific discipline of Film and TV Editing sets for itself the basic tasks of an academic discipline: introduction to the basics of the scientific discipline through mandatory teaching contents (theoretical and practical):

  • Profile upgrade through elective courses;
  • Permanent monitoring and introduction to the latest technical and technological achievements in the domain of film and TV editing, the latest trends, styles and novelties in the film and TV production;
  • Research activity in the area of the scientific discipline itself,as individual or group activities, with an aim to expand the educational diameter;
  • Continuous practical activity i.e. synthesis of the theoretical and practical content.

After the graduation at the Film and TV Editing Department, the candidates acquire a high level of education, i.e. a professional title GRADUATED FILM AND TELEVISION EDITOR.
